How draft sync works

Your drafts are stored on your device first, then synced to Bloomary’s cloud so you can access them anywhere.

1. Local first

When you write or edit a draft, it is saved on your device immediately. You can keep writing even without an internet connection.

2. Sync in the background

When you’re online, Bloomary sends your changes to the cloud in the background. This includes:

  • New drafts
  • Edits to existing drafts
  • Drafts you delete

3. Merge, not overwrite

If you use Bloomary on multiple devices, drafts are merged by ID. The most recently updated version of each draft is kept. This means:

  • Drafts you create on one device appear on all your devices.
  • Edits made on different devices are reconciled automatically.
  • Deleting a draft on one device removes it everywhere once sync completes.

4. Draft limits

Your account has a draft limit based on your plan:

  • Free or expired Pro: up to 5 drafts
  • Active Pro: up to 50 drafts

The limit only applies to creating new drafts. You can always edit your existing drafts, even if you currently have more drafts than your plan allows.

5. Images

Images are uploaded separately and linked to the draft. They are included when the draft is synced across devices.

Tip: If a draft ever looks out of date, make sure you are connected to the internet and give sync a few seconds to finish. Sync happens automatically in the background.
